The Maternity services team at Beta Care is committed to providing safe, high-quality, accessible and equitable care to women.
We offer both midwife-led services for low-risk pregnancies and maternal and fetal medicine expertise for those who need it. We encourage early access in pregnancy and provide midwife-led, shared, and consultant-led care options to suit every mother.
Care to Suit Every Family
We offer services to suit all pregnant women and their families. Our midwifery and obstetric teams work closely together to ensure a seamless transition to senior care whenever it is needed.
A Named Midwife
Each pregnant woman receives a named midwife who supports her throughout pregnancy.
Your Aftercare
Following the birth, mothers who are healthy are encouraged to go home, where our community midwives provide home care. Where hospital care is needed, options include:
- Postnatal wards — a typical stay of 6–24 hours, or 3–4 days following a caesarean section
- Transitional care — for babies who need a little extra care
- Neonatal unit — for approximately one in ten babies
